Erica Blaire Roby

In 2018, Roby enrolled in a barbecue cooking course taught by celebrity pitmaster Harry Soo. After completing the course, Roby was certified as a pitmaster and began work in a barbecue restaurant.
Her love for barbecue started as a hobby. She eventually became obsessed with the art of barbecuing. In the beginning, she cooked on her back patio. Later, she competed in barbecue contests across the nation, cooking alongside world-famous pitmasters. She has also opened several pop ups in Dayton and Ohio. She hopes to one day open a food truck.
Team Brawl vs. Team Brawl and Team Anne
In the upcoming third season of Food Network BBQ Team Brawl, two of the world's top chefs will join forces to compete for the ultimate grilling title. Anne Burrell will battle Jet Tila, Bobby Flay, and Team Anne in a dinner-party brawl. Matt Roth, a favorite of "BBQ Brawl", returns to the Austin-based Smokin Beauty along with his wife Thao.
